Aerial Views of the Panama Canal

The Panama Canal is known as "The Eighth Wonder of the World"... and with good reason! It is a man-made artificial 82 km waterway in Panama that connects the Atlantic Ocean with the Pacific Ocean.

The Miraflores locks are located on the Pacific side of the Panama Canal and border Panama City, Panama. Visiting the Miraflores museum is highly recommended. In addition, you will be able to view the ships passing by from the Amador Causeway.

Now and then the Panama Canal authorities share some amazing footage of its operations. This video from 2016 shows some great shots of the Panama Canal from above. If you are as fascinated about this wonder as we are, we strongly recommend you to check out the Youtube channel of the Panama Canal Authorities for more videos.
