From Hard Rock to Megapolis: The Rebirth of Panama's Iconic Hotel.

Formerly known as the Hard Rock Hotel, this iconic hotel has rebranded to offer a revamped experience for travelers and locals alike. Located in the heart of Panama City's bustling financial district, the Panama Megapolis Hotel is a towering 66-floor building that still is a landmark in the city.

The Hard Rock Hotel used to be the place to go thanks to the various restaurants, the club(s) and bars, the casino, and the overall amenities.

After being closed for a couple of years (Hard Rock), the Panama Megapolis Hotel officially opened its doors in April of this year, welcoming guests with its stunning panoramic views of the city and the Pacific Ocean. The hotel's rooms and suites are (still) featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing guests to take in breathtaking views of the city skyline and the beautiful ocean beyond.

Let's hope the vibrant Hard Rock experience will return to Panama under the flag of Megapolis. Prices per night start from $126,00.

One of the highlights of the Panama Megapolis Hotel is its infinity pool, offering a breathtaking view of the city and the ocean. It's the perfect spot to relax and unwind while enjoying the stunning scenery. Other features and amenities as listed on their website:

  • Free Wi-Fi internet access throughout the hotel,
  • Free public parking on the premises (unreserved),
  • Soundproof rooms,
  • Family rooms,
  • Airport shuttle,
  • In-room breakfast,
  • Terrace/solarium,
  • Spa/relaxation area,
  • Hot tub/jacuzzi,
  • Business center.

The Panama Megapolis Hotel has a prime location in the banking district and is close to a wide variety of restaurants, bars, casinos, the Cinta Costera (boulevard), and shopping malls. The closest mall, Megapolis Mall (previously Multicentro Mall) is connected to the hotel. However, the stores and bars in the mall have been fading away over the recent year and it is waiting for the time the mall becomes vibrant again.

In general, we are very delighted to have Megapolis Hotel re-open since it comes with nostalgic memories that hopefully can be relived with the great location, and hopefully top-notch amenities.
