Recreovía Panamá is a great way to start your Sunday in Panama City. The scenery is stunning, the classes are fun and challenging, and there’s plenty of opportunity for socialization. And most of the activities are free! What could be better?
Recreovía Panamá offers the perfect opportunity for those looking to find an enjoyable activity outside of their regular routine. Whether you’re looking to exercise or have some fun time with friends and family.
In this article we cover the following items about Recreovía:
What is Recreovía?
Each Sunday from 6 a.m. to noon the Cinta Costera is closed for motorised vehicles from Paitilla all the way to the end of the Amador. One way is left open for drivers who want to leave Casco Viejo and the Seafood Market. This means you can enjoy walking, running, cycling, skating, and many more activities without having to worry about cars.
Why the Recreovía?
The health authorities in Panama initiated the Recreovia to stimulate healthy activities and to get people together. That's why every Sunday you can enjoy (free) activities on Balboa Boulevard in downtown Panama City.
